Can we buy a CIDCO alloted flat but the possession of the flat is not done.

If yes what is the procedure for transfer of such flat.

Is such deals legal

Without the flat owner having a registered sale agreement with CIDCO, it would not be legally valid.Most people get around this by signing a Power of Attorney.But at some point in the future, the sale agreement will have to be signed with the allottee and at that time if the owner refuses or asks for more money,you will be in trouble.Anyways, CIDCO flats have a clause whereby the allottee cannot sell before certain time period (5 yrs – 3 yrs).
